In-depth action for complicated conjunctivitis

Tau Ophthalmic, broad spectrum antibiotic eye drops with excellent intraocular penetration, combines Chloramphenicol in an excipient that guarantees maximum permanence of the antibiotic on the ocular surface, reducing evaporation of the tear film. Chloramphenicol spectrum is effective even against intracellular bacteria.

Indication

  • Due to its high antibacterial efficacy, it is indicated in general infectious processes, blepharitis, keratitis, anterior chamber infections, wounds and irritations of the conjunctiva and eyelids.
  • Conjunctivitis of various origins, especially those caused by Chlamidya spp.
  • Also indicated in perioperative prophylaxis.

Dosage and administration

Instill one drop of Tau Ophthalmic in the affected eye, every 8 hours.

Formula

Each 1 ml of product contains:

Cloranfenicol 10,0 mg, Benzocaína 20 mg, Excipientes c.s.p. 1 ml.
