Tau Ophthalmic, antibiotic and anti-inflammatory eye drops. Combines Chloramphenicol and Hydrocortisone, both in an excipient that guarantees maximum permanence of the active principles, reducing evaporation of the tear film.

How does Tau Ophthalmic with Steroids work?

Indication

  • Due to its broad spectrum of antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, it is indicated in infectious and inflammatory processes in general.
  • Conjunctivitis of various origins, especially those caused by Chlamidya spp.
  • Blepharitis, keratitis, anterior uveitis, wounds and irritations of conjunctiva and eyelids.

Dosage and administration

Instill one drop of Tau Ophthalmic with corticoid in the eye, every 8 hours.

Formula

Each 1 ml of product contains:

Cloranfenicol 10.0 mg, Hidrocortisona 5.0 mg, Excipientes c.s.p. 1 ml.
