Ciprovet, broad spectrum antibiotic eye drops and therapeutic margin. Contains Ciprofloxacin in a 20% Chondroitin Sulfate base. Ciprofloxacin belongs to the group of fluoroquinolones and is notable for its action on many bacterial groups. Chondroitin Sulfate stimulates and organizes corneal repair, improves healing and preserves natural moisturization and transparency of the surface. A higher frequency of superficial ulcers and ocular pathologies in the anterior segment justifies the choice of this eye drop. Ciprovet achieves excellent concentration and maximum antibiotic permanence at this level, promoting quick healing and avoiding further complications.

Indication

  • Bacterial conjunctivitis, tear deficit, contaminated dry keratitis and corneal ulcers caused by susceptible microorganisms, lesions and/or infections in the anterior chamber.
  • Especially indicated against infections caused by Pseudomona aeruginosa, the bacteria responsible for most ulcerative processes of the cornea or their complications.

Dosage and administration

Instill one drop of Ciprovet in the affected eye every 24 hours. In case of severe ocular infection or corneal ulcers, start the treatment with one drop every 12 hours and continue every 24 hours or according to the criteria of the Veterinarian.

Formula

Each 1 ml of product contains:

Chondroitin Sulfate 200.0 mg, Ciprofloxacin 3.0 mg, Carrier q.s. 1 ml.
