Description:

Tobramax, broad spectrum antibiotic eye drops in a 10% Chondroitin Sulfate base. Tobramycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic with bactericidal action and effectiveness even on Gentamicin-resistant microorganisms. Chondroitin Sulfate “A” stimulates and organizes corneal repair, improves healing and preserves natural moisturization and transparency of the surface. Tobramax reaches maximum effectiveness in the anterior segment of the eye, where 90% of eye pathologies are present.

Formula:

Each 1 ml of product contains:
Chondroitin Sulfate 100.0 mg
Tobramycin 3.0 mg
Excipients q.s. 1 ml

Indications:

  • Bacterial conjunctivitis, tear deficit, contaminated dry keratitis, corneal ulcers caused by susceptible microorganisms, lesions and/or infections in the anterior chamber.
  • Highly effective against Pseudomona aeruginosa.

Dosage and Administration Routes:

Instill one drop in the affected eye every 6 hours on the first two days, and every 8 hours thereafter. In corneal ulcers, start treatment with 1 drop every 4 hours. The application frequency may vary at the Veterinarian’s discretion. Tobramax allows dose intervals between 4 to 12 hours.
